What personal training in Vaughan looks like with me
Every client starts with a conversation about your goal, your schedule, your injury history and what you have tried before. From there I build a training plan, set nutrition targets you can follow in real life, and track your progress every week. You are not handed a generic template. You get a coach who adjusts the plan when life changes.
I lost over 150 lbs myself, so I know what the first month feels like, and why most plans fall apart in week three. That shapes how I coach: small targets, tight accountability, no extreme diets. Looking for weight loss specifically? Read weight loss coaching in Vaughan.
Has Puffy lost weight himself?
At 17 I weighed about 370 lbs. I tried keto, Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, shakes, apps and a 1,200 calorie plan. I lost a few pounds, then gained them back. Every time.
Then I changed how I approached it. I lost over 150 lbs in 14 months and kept it off. I have coached 400 plus clients since. I know what quitting feels like because I did it for years.
That is why I build your plan around your real week, not a perfect one. Watch the full story: How I lost 150 pounds.
Who I work with
Most clients are busy adults who want to lose weight, build strength, or get moving again without getting hurt. Common starting points include:
- Weight loss clients who have tried on their own and stalled.
- Beginners who feel intimidated walking into a gym.
- Adults in their 40s and 50s dealing with a stiff back, tight hips or low energy.
- People who want accountability between sessions, not just an hour a week.
Who this is not for
You want a magic pill. You want a trainer who agrees with everything you say. You will not do a weekly check in. You want a plan that asks nothing of you.
If that is you, I am the wrong coach. If you have started and quit before, and you want the truth even when it stings, text me.
How the coaching works
- Free intro call. We cover your goal, your history and your schedule. If I am not the right fit, I will say so.
- Kickoff and baseline. We set your starting numbers, movement screen and a realistic target date.
- Training. In person sessions in Vaughan, with a written program for the days we are not together.
- Nutrition. Calorie and protein targets and a simple food plan built around what you already eat.
- Weekly check in. You send your weight, measurements, photos and notes. I review them and adjust one thing at a time.
In person, hybrid or online
All three work the same way. Same plan. Same weekly check in. The only difference is who is in the room.
Hybrid is the setup I recommend. One session a week with me in person. The rest on your own, with me watching your numbers. In person sessions take place at my private gym in Vaughan, so you get a quiet space with proper equipment and no crowd. Hybrid clients mix in person sessions with remote coaching through the Coach AI app, which holds your program, check ins and messages in one place. If you are outside Vaughan, hybrid and online coaching work well across the GTA. Not sure which fits? Read in person vs online personal training.

Personal training in Vaughan: common questions
How much does a personal trainer cost in Vaughan?
It depends on how often we train and whether you want in person, hybrid or online coaching. I quote monthly, and I will give you a clear number on the intro call so there are no surprises.
Do I need gym experience?
No. Many clients start as complete beginners. Session one is built around where you are today.
Can you help with weight loss and nutrition together?
Yes. Training and nutrition are coached together, because fat loss usually comes down to both. I am a Precision Nutrition Level 2 certified coach.
What if I have a sore back or other injury?
Tell me on the intro call. I program around your limits and include mobility work. I am not a physiotherapist, so for a diagnosed injury I will ask for clearance from your doctor or physio first.
Do you coach weight loss online?
Yes. Online clients get the same custom plan and the same weekly check in as in person clients. I coach online across Canada.
Are you a dietitian?
No. Dietitian is a protected title in Ontario. I am a Precision Nutrition Level 2 certified coach. I coach habits and food choices. I do not treat medical conditions. If you have one, work with your doctor too.
Is weight loss coaching worth it if I have failed before?
Most of my clients have started and quit before. So did I. The plan is built around your real schedule so one bad week does not end it.
How do I get started?
Text me at (647) 705 6715 or book a free intro call. We will take it from there.
