Let me tell you My Story!

Through personal experience, I have encountered the challenges and obstacles that accompany the journey of transforming one’s body. Having overcome my own struggles with weight, I possess a deep understanding of the emotional and physical hurdles that individuals face during this process. With a genuine desire to assist others, I am eager to extend my support and share the knowledge and strategies that aided me in my own transformation.

About four and a half years ago I was at my worst, an obese teenager with no real ambition or drive in life, facing chronic depression and thoughts of suicide. I did nothing all day but eat junk food, play videogames, and sit on my ass. My doctor told me that if I continued with my current lifestyle, I would be dead by 24.

After my grandfather whom I was very close with died, I decided to reflect on my life and who I wanted to be. I decided that I was done being obese and unhealthy and that I was going to turn my life around.

In the past, I had tried many different therapies, health practitioners, and treatment programs. However, none of them worked for me, mainly because I was only going to them because others in my life were telling me that I needed to change.

It wasn’t until the desire to change came from within myself that my life began to really transform.

At the start of my journey, I was well over 350 pounds and was absolutely terrified of walking into a gym. So instead, I started with changing my diet by reducing the amount of junk food and processed foods I ate, and soon enough, I started to lose weight.

However, this alone did not get me to where I am today. My knowledge on nutrition and fitness was limited at the time, and my results were plateauing – I needed a personal trainer to help me with my journey.

The trainer I found not only helped me make dramatic progress in my fitness goals, but also became a very important person in my life. He helped me lose another 80 pounds and gave me the tools I needed in order to take control of my health.

Soon after, I realized that I too have a passion for helping people achieve their fitness goals.

People who desire a different body and lifestyle but just don’t know where to start.

So, I took courses and received certifications on coaching and nutrition, combined them with what my own trainer had taught me, and began to train my own clients. You can see their stories here.

That is the story of how I started coaching, and that is why I want to help you.

I know this sounds cheesy, but I deeply believe that every person has a purpose in life.

I believe my purpose is to help people change their lives and overcome their issues when it comes to health and fitness. I feel nothing but pure joy when I see a client who is happy with their progress.

    I am knowledgeable in fitness, nutrition, and mobility. For fitness, I can be your personal trainer either in person or online. For nutrition, I can write you a meal plan or prepare meals for you. For mobility, I can teach you specialized stretches to do at home or provide you with a fascia stretch therapy session. We work together to determine what is right for you, set a goal, work toward that goal with small, consistent steps, and adjust the program as we go.

    My trainer was able to help me because I could be open with him. He was able to understand me beyond just my body and understood my goals within the context of my life. This is how we were able to see exceptional progress. That is why I strive to create a safe space for ALL of my clients, so that they can trust me and allow me to help them. I build relationships with my clients because I truly care about their success. I needed someone to believe in me years ago, and now I want to return the favour to others who are ready to achieve their health goals.

    Unlike trainers who think they know it all already, I am constantly learning. Don’t get me wrong, I have a proven system and great confidence in my knowledge and expertise already, but there is always more to learn.
